It’s not just for long hair either, it just means that the distance from your shortest layer to the length of your hair is minimal compared to let’s say, a shag, where someone would have super short layers that are disconnected from the length.

While i love doing a variety of haircuts, long layers is what i specialize in. Think beachy, effortless, soft layers that look great whether you wear your hair straight, wavy, curly, or natural.

Long layers pair perfectly with face framing layers, especially if you love styling your hair and getting that 90s blowout look and you don’t want to sacrifice thickness by getting shorter layers throughout your whole head. The 90s layered cut is very much in-style right now, but it takes a little more effort to style correctly and works best on those with thicker hair.
